Tahir Shah is a celebrated author who merrily deciphers the hidden underbelly of the lands through which he travels. Tahir shuns well-trodden tourist paths, and avoids celebrated landmarks, preferring instead to position himself in a dusty café and observe life go by.

 

Josh Healey is an organizer, educator, poet, and musician, though not always in that order.  Josh’s new book “Hammertime: Poems and Possibilities” (OMAI / First Wave Press) was released in fall 2008 as part of the Wisconsin Book Festival. He is also the co-editor for Someone Might Hear You: An Anthology of First Wave Poets.
